1. Golden Globes Awarded- The 71st Golden Globes were awarded last night, taking home best film in the drama category was 12 Years a SlaveAmerican Hustle won best film in the “comedy” category.

2. Iran Nuclear Plan Will Start Soon- The nuclear plan that will seek to begin dismantling Iran’s nuclear program will begin January 20 as six world powers have established a six-month plan. The agreement will restrict Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for easing economic sanctions.

3. Neiman Marcus Reveals Data Breach- Fashion retailer Neiman Marcus is the latest store to reveal a massive data breach. The store has revealed that customers’ payment card information was stolen and unauthorized charges were made over the holidays.

4. Alex Rodriguez Banned For A Year- New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, has been banned from baseball for a year, stemming from charges of steroid use. Rodriguez will lose more than $25 million by sitting out next year.

5. Plane Lands At Wrong Airport- A Southwest Airlines plane landed at the wrong airport last night. The plan was supposed to land in Branson, Missouri, but instead landed at Taney Airport, a few miles away.
