1. Democrats and (One Republican) Win- Yesterday millions of Americans went out to vote and had their voices heard. Democrats had a major win last night as Terry McAuliffe won the governor of Virgina, Bill De Blasio is the new mayor of New York and Chris Christie will remain governor of New Jersey.

2. Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Will Stay- Even though he admitted to heavy driving and smoking crack cocaine, Toronto Mayor Rob Ford will not resign. Ford told reporters in a press conference, “I love my job, I love this city,” he said. “I know I have to regain your trust and confidence.”

3. Starbucks To Recruit Veterans, Spouses- Starbucks has announced plans to hire 10,000 veterans and spouses of active military in the next five year. It’s not only about hiring baristas said Howard Schultz, it’s about building teams.

4. Lady Gaga’s Album Available Now- Lady Gaga’s new album ARTPOP is available to be streamed now on iTunes Radio. The album features the hit singles “Applause,” “Do What U Want” and “Venus.”

5. The Jungle Book To Be Rebooted- Disney’s classic cartoon film The Jungle Book will be rebooted in live-action form. Jon Favreau, director of Iron Man is in talks to direct the film.
