The Five Things You Need To Know Today (November 5)

1. Today Is Election Day- Americans will flood to the polls today in order to vote for local representation. Headlining elections include, the mayor of New York, governor of New Jersey and governor of Virginia.

2. India Sends Probe To Mars- Taking massive steps in their space program, India has sent a probe to Mars with the goal of developing technology to design and conduct interplanetary missions. If the the mission is successful, India will become the first Asian country to reach Mars.

3. Johnson & Johnson To Pay $2.2 Billion- Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay $2.2 billion in drug marketing penalties. Johnson & Johnson will settle criminal and civic claims that it marketed the anti psychotic drug Risperdal and other medications for off brand purposes.

4. DMX Arrested- Rapper DMX was arrested outside a South Carolina airport for driving with a suspended license and in car without correct tags. DMX is still scheduled to perform a concert on Wednesday.

5. Richie Incognito Banned From Locker Room- Miami Dolphins’ offensive tackle, Richie Incognito has been banned from the locker room following the bullying of fellow offensive tackle Jonathan Martin. Yesterday saw a ton of disturbing texts and voice messages to Martin from Incognito come to light.
