1. Liz Cheney Jumps Into Senate Race- The eldest daughter of Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, said that she will challenge incumbent GOP Senator Mike Enzi of Wyoming, as another Republican representative. Republicans have said they will continue to support incumbent Sen. Enzi.

2. Food Poisoning Kills 22 Children In India- At least 22 children died in India after eating a free meal provided by their school yesterday. Medical teams looking at the children suspect insecticides were used in the foods handling.

3. Google Pitches Online TV- Similar to the model of Apple TV, Google as approached media companies to sign deals that would allow Google to broadcast content online. Talks are still in the very early stages.

4. Details Emerge From Cory Monteith’s Death- Glee star Cory Monteith was found dead in a Vancover hotel room on Sunday and medical examiners have determined that Monteith died from a mix of heroin and alcohol.

5. American League Tops National League- The American League defeated the National League in the MLB All-Star game for the first time since 2009 last night 3-0. The winner pitcher was Chris Sale, losing pitcher was Patrick Corbin and the MVP was Mariano Rivera.
