Five Things You Should Do This Weekend

Don’t Go See Pain & Gain or The Big Wedding– Instead of seeing some stupid Michael Bay movie or another dumb romantic comedy starring Katherine Heigl, why don’t you go outside and enjoy the weather. Their COMBINED Rotten Tomatoes score is 54%. Why not go for a bike ride? Go for a hike?! I know I’ll be in Central Park on Saturday.

Check out Vampire Weekend on Sunday night- Even if you can’t go see Vampire Weekend at Roseland Ballroom this weekend, you can webcast it! Part of American Express’ Unstaged Performance Series, Steve Buscemi is directing the performance. Should be interesting. For details, click here.

Check out Crossing Brooklyn Ferry- In it’s second year, the music festival is curated by The National. The Roots played last night, Solange (Beyoncé’s little sister) plays tonight) and TV On the Radio plays tomorrow. Check out the full lineup here.

Go to “Photography and the Civil War”- The Metropolitan Museum of Art is currently showing an exhibit that features photography from the Civil War. Sounds pretty interesting. For details click here.

Sports, Sports and more Sports- If you want to stay inside, you can watch the NBA Playoffs, baseball, the NFL Draft or even golf.

Have a great weekend!
